10 Reasons Women Over 50 Prefer to Date Younger Men

In this day and age of dating, it’s becoming more and more difficult to find the ‘perfect one.’ I’m convinced now he doesn’t exist or maybe only in dog form?

Anywho…

Many women have completely given up and are looking to date and simply have fun with a younger guy, and by younger, we’re talking 20s to early 40s.

I’ve had my fair share of younger men. We didn’t date. We just had ‘fun’. Because you know, Cyndi Lauper said it best. 😉

I can’t say I’ve completely given up on finding my “Mr. Not So Bad But Perfect For Me,” but in the meantime, I’m exploring 🤭

Why Do Older Women Like to Date Younger Guys

So why is this? Why do women over 50 prefer to date younger men? I pulled a few reasons out of my hat.

These are the ones I can think of and why I don’t mind hanging with hot, younger guys.

🟡They’re Not Afraid to Have Fun

They let loose, have fun, and dance like no one is watching. They don’t care how goofy or crazy they get. They live for the moment and enjoy hanging out with friends and going out to have a good time. They keep us on our toes with their spontaneity and lust for life.

🟡They’re in Good Shape

We’re not gonna lie. We like hot, fit young men. Those muscles, the strong shoulders, solid chest. Mm hmm. And while there may be some men over 50 who have hot bodies, too, there’s just something about a young man’s hot body we prefer.

I’m not drooling; you are.

🟡They Have Stamina

Oooh ya. That’s what we’re talking about. None of this 5 minute stuff. These guys can go for hours, and yes, sometimes, that’s what a woman wants. Hours and hours of pure bliss and passion. We miss that.

🟡Very Little Baggage

We don’t mean suitcases; we mean emotional baggage and crazy ex-girlfriend/wife baggage. Very few younger men have any baggage at all! No worries about listening to them whine on and on about how their ex ‘did them wrong.’

🟡They Make Her Feel Youthful

They put that spark back into her that she lost so many years ago. Their thirst for life, their spunk, and their energy put a fire under her that she’s been longing for. With a younger man her age doesn’t bother her anymore because he makes her feel young and alive again.

🟡She Loves the Attention He Gives Her

Younger men adore older women, and they show their adoration by giving them attention. The attention we long for and crave. Spontaneous gifts and random cute texts are the norm when you’re with a younger guy.

🟡She Can Take Charge of the Relationship

While some women prefer to be submissive and have men do everything for them, there are some women who prefer to take charge and be the leader. With a younger man, women have the opportunity to do that without argument.

🟡More Excitement

There’s a unique level of excitement for an older woman when she’s with a younger man. He tends to be more fun and brings out the silly in her. His crazy randomness and unique youthful energy he brings to the relationship are just what she needs.

🟡Boosts Her Self-Confidence

Generally, as women age, we tend to lose our self-confidence, believing that no man will want us as our bodies and faces start showing signs of age. Dating a younger man helps boost her self-confidence and makes her feel beautiful and wanted.

🟡No Pressure of Commitment

With a younger man, there’s no pressure or stress of committing, having babies, or getting married. They both know they are in it solely for companionship and fun. They can enjoy each other’s company without all the commitment pressures.
